Hello,

Thinking about starting a new MP GC 1492 1.06 with 5 dedicated players.

The campaign has already 2 interested players, both of them from Portugal and with cable connections (1024 down, 256 up)

The "playable" countries shouldn't go far from "Eastern Europe", something in likes of Austria, Poland, Sweden, Russia and Turkey.

The Game speed should be 1:2, at maximum 1:4...

Player requirements:

1) Low ping, with very low or low "packet loss".

It has been my experience; EU net code doesn't handle well PL and desynchronization. I myself, unfortunately due to my poor connection to central Europe, had to leave a good ongoing GC.
So, have in mind when saying, "I might have a good ping" that the 2 players already in the campaign are from Portugal (Portugal is on the Western Europe for those “less informed” players :D ).

Spanish Players – Some Spanish ISPs provide a good connection to Portugal, others far from it…

“Others” – We do a connection test at peak hours. ;)

Just a small last clarification regarding this first point, I’m neither a fascist, nor a racist, this country “business” has strictly to do with connections and a “problems free” EU MP game;)

2)Maturity

I'm not interested in the age of the players, just in plain "old fashioned" maturity.
I don't live for playing games, but I play when I want without depending on any one... i.e., permission from mom, from daddy and so on ;)

3)It's a game

So, don't be nervous when those "baste#$" gang up on you... use your brain and diplomacy, somethings in life are not straightforward ;)

4) To know what BB means ;)

Now, if all this junk didn’t terrify you, just answer on this topic, or leave a private msg using this fine function provided by the forum ;)

In a few hours a few things have changed... :)

We now have 3 players , and we might go into a "western kind of game"; England, France, Austria, Venice and any other western nation (the objective is to make sure we have sufficient interaction). In reality, the countries we play should be agreed upon once we have the group formed.

So, just 2 more will be needed for the start... after that, it is possible more can join depending on the "lag".
