New events bug

The new events pup up won't let me select any of the options or close the pop up. And so can't continue the game.

I am at Sol 11 and I have gotten the "Fickle Economics" event. The only thing I can do is go to the new command center and look at all the new graphs. I can't back out of it or select the one option "3: understood" that would let me continue, I think. The other two options are greyed out as I didn't select oligarch (for option 1), or politician/city mayor (for option 2). The only thing I can do is force close the game to get out of it. Even going back to a previous auto save on Sol 6 and still got the same event with the same inability to select anything.

Going to start a new game and see what happens with that one.

Same thing happening to me. I'm completely blocked on any events which only allow me to close them. If you're not an Oligarch, Mayor, or Politician then you can't play at all.

I have come across a few events on a new game that I can get passed. Looks like it only affects the ones where you can only select one. I'm assuming that it will only affect you if you can only not chose the first option. Not sure haven't come across that possibility yet. Will keep going for now and see when this bug pokes its head out again and see what the circumstances are when it does.

New update on this bug.

Just got another event popup l, this time just the first option is not selectable and it won't let me do anything. So I guess its a problem with not being to select the first option. If you can select the first option you can navigation to all the options but when you can't select the first option you don't have a curser to move to any option.

Have also tried to use the numbers on my chat pad on my controller. That did nothing. Wasn't expecting it to but was worth a try.

I found a game rule to turn off events. It let's me play at least.

We are working on a hotfix for the bug with the lost selection if the first option is disabled. Sorry about the trouble.
