New expansion / update timeline?

Hello - avid fan of SM here (600 hours :O)

Any news on the 2nd expansion? Feel like the game needs more content, challenge falls off with time even on hardest settings. Maybe some endgame events and projects

Also what happened to the modding contest? Are the winning mods / modders posted somewhere?

I asked this question of them on Twitter, and the answer was yes. Plus it's now listed as part of the season pass on Steam. That'll teach me to do my research first.
