Make sure you have potential subs if you can't play some sessions, I'd say. And just normal AI settings so you don't get 50% bonuses while away from game.

Since there is no AI in this game, there is no point in putting that setting on anything else than normal ^^

Cool, count me in then. I'll have my empire build after I get a little time to toy around with the new patch.

Do remember that the patch releases Thursday the 6th and our game starts Friday the 7th and you species has to be completely fleshed out before game start.

Guyz is there a point to play as fnatic purifier? I mean, this is a roleplay game, a fnatic purifier should play the villain of the galaxy right?

If that is the player's choice. They will have a very silent playthrough and will probably face fierce competition from united players leading, most likely, to a premature death. However, having one does add some flavour to the galaxy.

Of course there is .Someone need to roleplay the villain too. Can't leave that to stale AI.
Purifiers and Hiveminds definitely have points, one of which is to keep other sentients uncomfortable through both their prescence and their RP.

Hopefully we go for the standard 100% habitable planets. Doing more makes it less of a game, and a huge bore, and even laggy. Please don't put obvious sane settings up for voting. The only thing we could vote for is spiral or not.

Would be a waste to create a species, wait a week for release & then have your one spaceport sniped.
