Nice! It is yet another good looking interpretation from Alex and crew at PGI.

It seems like a nice skirmisher. It's quick and not too badly armed. Sarna makes it sound like it has relatively light armor for it's class, but it seems like there is enough room there to remove a thing or two to free up tonnage for additional armor if needed.

I bet we are going to see it in MW5 too.

Well it should. Dervish is a very very common mech. . Manufactured in several locations both inner sphere and periphery. 55 tons, 2 ML, 2 SRM-2, 2 LRM-10, 150m jump. 275 rated engine. it's an effective mech. And it can be turned into a short range monster by replacing all the SRM and LRM with SRM-6's. 24 SRM's in your face is not to be sneezed at. Almost surprised the Dervish was not THE first candidate for an I.S. Omni.

Hoping that we'll see it here; that LRM - SRM mix would serve me well in the campaigns I've run.

The Dervish in original 3025 material was the easiest mech to buy if you were a merc.

It really needs to have 4 LRM5s instead of 2 LRM10s, since another ton of armour would really help it out. But it's a neat mech.

actually i always thought of the Dervish as the Javelin's big brother
they both have forward jutting chest....

its not so pronounced with the MWO version but i think there is a family resemblance still.
