Shy? you can liberate Bavary, Saxony, Silesia, East Prusia, Hamburg (on the next version), DDR ... Well, maybe something in the west should be also good. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Yeah, I saw Hamburg being talked about but not on the website. Anyway, I guess FRG could count as a "Rhineland" but you just have nothing for the area and it seemed a bit "unbalanced". But hey, I'm not putting the work into this, you are, so do whatever you please :).

Thanks for the permission. If we use the new countries I will gladly put you in the credits as well as a link to your site :)

I tend to think that Garvey would be more of a Fascist/PA than a LWR But I'm keeping him the same ideology as he appears elsewhere in your minister file

Garvey died in 36 didn't he?

A little suggestion for additional ministers for Quebec:

-Maurice Duplessis - Social conservative, backroom backstabber, or something like that. He could even be considerated as PA or FA. Head of Governement. The wikipedia picture is horrible, maybe search another one..

-Adelard Godbout, is already head of governement. But he was leading the liberal party, so he should be changed to Market Liberal.

-André Laurendeau, head of governement, SL, don't know his traits. Pictures easy to find on google.

...This is very few, but i hope this help a bit.

You should also copy/paste all communist ministers from ITA to RSI (Italian Socialist Republic). Italy becomes RSI whenever couped or resealed by the USSR and it became a running joke about Mussolini's habit to fight against himself. Just don't delete those people from ITA completely, who knows what might happen.

Rhineland is created, I've working on ministers and Tech teams (5). For now they only have 4 leaders.

Just some stuff to note that I picked up on in a game last night:

Charles Lindbergh is a Market Liberal (he was a Nazi sympathizer) in Hawaii, but a fascist in the 'States. He can also pop in both nations if they're both still around.

Harry Atwood also does this if New Afrika pops. If the US goes commie then he'll be in their ministers but also in New Afrika's if they pop.

Just bug checkin' :)

I would say yes, as it could be "Republic of the Rhine" or "Rhineland Confederation", so in my mind, yes :). Good luck!

Just 15 minutes before I read your post I heard a speech from Linbergh being played on the local college radio station. :)

I think labeling Lindbergh as a nazi sympathizer is a bit simplistic. The guy had views that were similar to nazi views, but a lot of the ideas like support for Eugenics (though Lindbergh only supported "voluntary eugenics") and nordicism were a lot more mainstream back then. The nazis didn't have a monopoly on that sort of thing or even anti semetism. While he was in Germany he did some spying work for the Uk and US governments. When he was doing his anti-war activism he banned any nazis or socialists from his America First organization. While arguing to keep out of World War Two he also argued that America should drastically increase its defense spending. He was also a liberal on things like race relations, for the time anyway.

His activism may have in some ways "helped" the Nazis, but I don't think he did it to help the Nazis or because he was a closet Nazi. How much it "helped" the Nazis is a good question. Roosevelt promised that "your boys won't be sent to fight in any foreign wars" during the 1940 election and much of the congress and the American people were anti interventionist at the time. A lot more people than Lindbergh thought that the US had no obligation to fight Europe's wars. Even if Lindbergh hadn't become an activist, the US still wouldn't have entered the war before Pearl Harbor. Congress wouldn't have voted to declare war unless they had a good reason and they didn't see Hitler's aggression as a good enough reason.

Thats just my two cents about Lindbergh.

I don't think its too big a deal for Lindbergh to be a market liberal in Hawaii. That similar to MacArthur being a minister in the Phillipines while also being a US minister. Most games of this mod Hawaii will probably be a US puppet, so you could look at it as Lindbergh moderating his views somewhat to serve his Country in Hawaii.

As for Haywood, he'd probably have no problems "consulting" his former Comrades in the CPUSA if they somehow came into power while he was in power in New Afrika. I do think we need a few more security ministers for commie USA, though.
