Yeah, this game did have some fun moments. But somehow down the road, the game sort of derailed a bit from the fun imo...

Thanks to you all for participating, and thanks to the subs who helped us throughout the game as well!

Oh, and I'd like to use this moment to declare Djeheuty winner of the new and prestigefull "Hive's New Order Player of The Year 2005" award. :)

now i don't really care who wins but would be nice to say why art wins england and spain where dominating , denmark was amazing for a long time this game and art didn't exactly do much in secund half of the game

Bocaj did indeed do a great job in Denmark, i had a easy road when i took over really, the colonisation was complete and the economy/tech made it possible for me to tripple Danish income relative fast.

And i wouldnt say that England-Spain dominated the game, i think no-one dominated this game really, some nations/alliances dominated for short periods perhaps. But it's probably true that England dominate the current period, but mostly thanks to there one enemy only strategy which probably make anyone dominate ;)

I think i would nominate Tonioz Poland for best achievement though, which i consider a more relevant title. If you're to win the game, you need to annex your opponents if it is to be a clear victory so to speak, i think.

If you read it with more care, you will notice that Hive proclaimed Djeheuty to be "Hive's New Order Player of The Year 2005", for which nomination Hive wasn't thinking on terms of dominating the game or beating the other guys.

At least so I understood it.

Exactly Byak.

Artemis is a nice guy, never complain, never whine, a reliable and easy going player.

agreed i just misunderstood :)

Well, so long as it's not for dominating the game or beating other players, I accept the award with pride :) I'm still not sure exactly why I got it - it's too much to say I never whine or complain, but after all when I get up at 3:30 a.m. I am usually relatively more docile than probably your average EU2 player :D

Actually, when you declared war on Denmark, I would have declared war on you if I wasn't in your alliance.

I didn't think during the second half of the game that an Ottoman DOW against Austria would have been really sporting at any time, so I didn't, well that's my excuse anyway.

Sad to see this game going to an end before 1913. :(
Yesterday evening, my connection suddendly died during the heavy storm/rain we had and I was unable to connect again during 2 hours.

I really had fun all along this game and was happy to play for the first time Portugal in a VN game, our strategic alliance with Spain letting us Iberians to stay in the race until the end.

See you all soon then.
