I know this have been a constant thread, but can someone give me any and all solutions for the aforementioned screen flickering problem that occurs with HOI 2 DD 1.2? I have changed the avi file back and back again. My drivers have been changed and changed back again. I close Nortons when playing the game. I am at wits end and the screen flickering is becoming more and more annoying. I have 2GB of ram. My video card is The ATI Radeon 9800 Pro series. My driver is the Omega 3.8.205. I have 38 applications running in the background. I have downloaded and installed Analog X Cache Booster. Anything you could suggest and all directions you could point me in would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance. I have never had this problem with any other software.

It could be musicmatch running in the background. MM.exe or mmdiag.exe in the Processes tab.
Is musicmatch something I need, i.e., is it something I can uninstall? I will check it out and let you know if it indeed is this, thank you for a reply.
If you have music match on your system or have ever had it installed it will cause flickering.

Okay Castellon, I did have it installed or rather fragments of it installed (don't ask me how but I am sure my wife knows something about it) but on the process tab it did not show anything as running. I have deleted the files associated with music match and as of yesterday, playing the game for three hours or so, I only noticed a slight flicker when opening the technology window and going back to the main map view. Thank you for your suggestions and help.
