Does it influence? I did not know that. I thought it was army size, economy size, dip rating of the monarch, the total time the country is your vassal and your stab.

That seem to be enough modifiers already anyway :D

given the amount of players that in their WC attempts fire it off with a diploannexation of a (fairly) large neighbour, it can't be much, if any influence exists.

probably FAL meant he needs a sub for sex as well

And you will be that sub?
i would do, but i have sex duties at my crown

At the request of FAL I suggest the following rules (most of them are R*oken69's).

It is forbidden to

1. Attack with pirates as well as comparatively very small fleets, only made to inhibit loading/landing

2. Release a vassals during wartime to hinder an enemy

3. Turbo-Burn manufactories, i.e. repeated go and stop orders to an army

4. DOW with the aim of increasing stab of the DOWed nation

5. Exploiting Simultaneity: Any public agreement between players that would occur simultaneously in the real world but that, due to limitations in the game engine cannot be done simultaneously, must be adhered to. This rule includes, but is not limited to, any type of "sale".

6. A Counter-Reform Catholic nation cannot declare war on a catholic nation that has all catholic player allies. You may not go back to normal Catholicism until the edict of Tolerance.

7. No map trading with the AI

8. A player which is force-vassalized must remain a vassal for at least 20 years. Forced and Diplomatic Vassals are required to submit to any request by their overlord that is not self-destructive (GM interpretes). After that a vassal wishing to disobey his overlord must immediately cancel vassalization.

And of course, in case there is doubt how to apply a rule in a specific case the GM is the arbiter.

PS Good thing Fredrik and Ozzeh are not in this game. They would have great trouble remembering all of this :p

I like all of those, save 6.

Oops, I now see Ozzeh is in this game. :eek:o  What will now happen... ;)

You are lucky. I wouldn't do any of this stuff anyway :p

By the way, I am a bit insulted by the fact that you don't remember me being in the game  But of course, that might also be my 'sit-on-my-island' policy :D

Fredrik is in this game as well - he is playing Russia.

Oboy I must improve my reading of post 1. :eek:o Thanks PJL.

Well, we will see if Fredrik can accept those rules as well. He is not that keen on this kind of rule list, he prefers to trust the players to have a common understanding of what is allowed and what is not ;) which of course is pie in the sky :p

All of those rules is a matter of course for me, and for the major part of this community. All of those "rules" can be put under one rule instead, "gamey behavior is not tolerated" etc.

Just wondering. What is so bad about the second part of this rule, i. e. using small parts of your own fleet to disrupt landings?

I agree. Although i can clearly see the exploit in using pirates to disrupt landings (although i dont view it as badly as Hive for example, who refuses to even play with the people caught in the act), you are actually devoting time to reorganize your fleet in small detachments and then send them to the enemies fleet. There are a limited amount of ships that can be used for this and there should also be some way to counter landings (for a short time at least) when your fleet is completely defenseless anyway.
