When I first started Magicka: Wizard Wars, I was blissfully overwhelmed. I immediately fell in love with the depth and potential of the game but I was also extremely overwhelmed! M:WW can be a daunting, some times frustrating, game to play. The learning curve is immense, (unless maybe you main Invoker in Dota 2), and I know a lot of players that just get salty and quit within the first few hours of playing. I was lucky enough to find a mentor of sorts, his name, Argotha. That is pronounced, Are-Gawth-Uh, don't call him Are-Gothe-uh, he doesn't like it...Anyhow, Mr. Argotha took me into a private duel and taught me what I am sure what he thought were "The Basics", I had no f#&king idea what he was blabbering about! After about two hours of him slinging fiery death rocks at me, (SDF) and me trying my best to thwart his nonstop barrage long enough to run away and heal, I noticed I started to slowly understand the things he was showing me. After about a week, I'd find myself in the middle of a match saying aloud, "Ohhhhh, ok...Now that makes sense!" The point being that the game may seem unlearn-able and overwhelming but with a decent teacher and a bit of practice your muscle memory starts to kick in and you are getting faster and faster. So, I would like to help any new players out there before they rage-quit, throw their mouse out the window and punch a kitten. So, I uploaded Argotha taking me to Wizard school on to my youtube for all to watch and learn. I hope this helps! P.S. I will be uploading Magicka: Wizard Wars videos as much as I can and make sure to check out Argotha's tutorials and Trance Academy's youtube page! Happy casting!

I'm glad that you developed a better understanding of the game, and I hope that many others will too (instead of punching all the kittens).

Unfortunately, this thread belongs in the Magicka: Wizard Wars forum, not here. I suggest that you get it moved, since a lot of people would probably appreciate your story.
