... I didn't know it was pushed back an hour .... hmmm... The earliest I could possibly make it would be about 6:30pm (if everything goes well at work) which is 3:30pm my time. If this doesn't work I could still sub for the gang.

I could play Russia, however, I might be restricted to two hours play for the first session, (due to the fact that I'd need to hammer out MP times with my parents, as I have a set internet-off time organized with them, so there'd be negotiation there, but I have no doubt I'd be able to get them to comply for an extra hour two nights a week), if you're willing to have me.

Keep in mind my experience is at playing countries that are the opposite of Russia (Rich, small, naval-heavy), so, although I think I'll enjoy it, I won't be exceptionally good.

I understand some players experienced difficulties with Hamachi. Please try opening up ports on your routers and firewalls (as described in Jarkko's newbie guide), so that we will have a backup plan, should Hamachi fail. Or indeed, use Hamachi as a backup plan.

Don't use LAN. Use Internet connection with the fake IP Hamachi provides. Or use vnet to set up the game, should work with Hamachi as well. Better yet, just open those ports.

for using hamachi there was something you had to do in network connections, unchecking ipx for all other networks or something like that..
why do you want to use hamachi anyway?
v net worked fine for eu2 afaik..

b/c I have verizon fios service in USA. I do not have access to that router administration interface.

Ah, yeah. My bad, can't play. I must've mis-done something in the time conversions.. actually, yeah. Looky at edit.

EDIT: Figured it out. 11:00 AM GMT converts to 7:00 AM NY time, assuming DST is in effect. Which is what buggers my calculations. 'cause you put PM down on the frontpage, yah.
