So I went to the asset editor to edit an asset (lol) that I didnt create, a bus station (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=551821345&searchtext=).

I removed the parking and the trees since it was weird seeing the buses cross them. Inside the editor I can see come sort of purple lines that act like a path for the buses and would be really nice if they could be changed but i cant find a way to do this. Checked all the buttons/menus in the editor but couldnt find anything.

You see the roof used on it? Its actually a smaller version of another asset (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=453551249&searchtext=), I really enjoyed them before AD came out. Tried to import these into the editor to create my own terminal, but then again the purple path that I cant edit.

Any clues?

You'll need the More Network Stuff mod to do that. I'll warn you though, it's a pain to mess around with. They place like roads, but they're fussy. When creating my bus station I had loads of times where it simply wouldn't let me place the building in game - had to get the paths just right. If you've got the patience, then by all means mess around with it. If you mess it all up, you just delete your local save and sub to the original again. :)
