OK, after dropping 8 nukes on the US in Sp as Germany, I think it's time for some mp action.

How the hell does this work through Valkyrienet? I keep getting the abovementioned error. I have a superfast broadband internet connection and a fairly fast pc but can't get anything to work, any help would be very much appreciated.

hmm well

A friend of mine said this, try to wait when you log on until that pop-up with the ok sign goes away manually, don't click on it before its gone by itself..

He can't get into valknet games unless he waits for it to go away :)

Hope it helps

I have few suggestions to add to the before mentioned.

1. Make sure you portforward/make NAT entries or what ever its called in your router. Look in the Router sticky (believe its 2300 and 47624 both tcp and udp) to see what ports you need to open/portforward. Then check your router manual to see how to do it. FYI basicly u need to learn the router to send certain incoming traffic on relevant ports to your local pc.

2. If u have any "software" firewall u MUST learn that firewall to allow the application ie. HOI to have ingoing and outgoing traffic. An easy test would be disable the firewall after 1. and then try to see if works now. Most firewalls have the possiabillity to allow, ask or deny applications traffic. Check allow with HOI.

3. Maybe reinstall DirectX ie. Directplay etc

Hope it helps
