there's a flaw trait (has been shown on discord)
Interesting. Looks like we can only pick one flaw based on this image. They give a small negative effect but are also incompatible with a few positive traits. Meaning a flaw could define how you build and play your army. I wonder what other flaws there will be?

I'm hoping for some low-HP-Flaw for my Gobos, but let's see.

We can only have one flaw?

Honestly, that feels pretty fair to me. A decent way to implement weaknesses while still trying to keep min-maxing to a minimum.

Nice change but why would anyone summon a grimbeak crow? they suck. Also where are the spiders? Can you add serpents? Can you add summon primordial beast and summon scourge to the gaia tome?
I think it gives you a random selection of animals associated with that terrain. Notice that the text is different in each example? You can probably get serpents from swamp terrain.

I would like some new content for the T5 nature tome but it shouldn't be those. I'd welcome more ways to get them but just having them become something a player could just summon would be too powerful. People would just make stacks of them.

As the spell has always done. There's no change in that regard, it's simply instead of a completely random pull you have some choice in the matter.

can't stack since you can have only 1 of each type in a whole game

Yeah by the means currently in the game. I could be wrong but as far as I'm aware it works as follows.

You get primordials from the underground prison wonders. The amount you can get is limited by how many prisons there are.

You get scourge from the toll of seasons event. Which only happens once per game.

If they were added as a summon to the tier 5 tome as part of your suggestion. Players would be able to get more unless an additional mechanic is added to limit how many a player could have at one time. Like you can only use these summon spells once or only when you do not have any of those units.

I think they are limited by a counter not by how many prisons there are, I could be wrong though

Well, I'm gonna be the devil's advocate here. Grimbeak crows is obviously very bad battle unit and the only reason why they are still there is because they could be summoned by that spell before and the no animal was removed from the roster, but I remember that they could serve as nice scouts, they are flying units, have inherent 25% reduced upkeep due to being animal, and are summons which means they cost mana per turn instead of gold, which can help better balance early economy, since often gold in higher demand early on. So it's nice to be able to summon scout on demand near any hero to help fast scout nearby surroundings.
