Hello. I'm wondering if anyone can give me insight on what to do as, and how to play the Night's Watch? I'm familiar with the lore behind them, and how this creates special rules as to why they can't marry, and why they have non dynastic succession, etc.

I'm just wondering what you're supposed to do from a gameplay standpoint. I started up a Clash of Kings game, and then raised my levies to easily beat the Wildling invasion. Several years later the White Walkers pose a threat and I got to declare war on them, but they vastly outnumber my paltry forces and after a token resistance I was forced to surrender (help from the kingdoms did not come soon enough). Now they seem happy to stay North of the Wall anyways.

What I'm looking for is for someone to give me a Night's Watch 'overview' in terms of this mod. What am I supposed to be doing, how do I go about doing it? What are the highlights of the game? I see for example that I can apparently resettle some of the abandoned forts along the wall but this costs 500 gold, which I doubt I'll ever be able to get.

You use the job actions of your master of laws(recruiter) to get money and troops from lords to eventually restore the Watch to its former glory. It is more there for a mechanical reason and isn't too interesting to actually play as... that is unless you meet a certain Wildling woman who encourages you to take some more power...

Honestly the only reason to play a Night's Watch game is if you just want to observe the world which can be pretty fun.
