Dude, I did'n't know that Peron was the Argentinean President. He should still be President, as he should have been suprted by the axis.

Some media, GUis we're working on

In 1964, we're aiming for every available country at game start to have a custom GUI background, and some of the big revolters. If we get bored later on, we might try and make guis for every country that you can release aswell :p. You can check our GFX forums to see progress

The Hungarian GUI looks great!

May I ask whether the mod will feature b&w or color portraits?
I prefer b&w, and even for the period color pictures are not that easy to come by.

So it look awesome.

Will there be events about the effects of radiation and fallout for the nuked areas? Or atleast introduce penalties?

Well we scrapped that idea because, erm, I think Stahlwolf (or was it you, Vesimir?) pointed out it wasn't plausible to have permanently irradiated territories. Of course, infra levels in the provinces hit hardest by the war won't be what they are in MDS, Japan is a smouldering ruin with 70% of the population dead in which the player will have to take absolutely draconic measures to get his economic to an *acceptable* level

These are our terrain type pictures for now (WIP)

Laurence is also working on getting a lot of cities ingame, so I think you can expect a lot of Urban fighting in 1964

Japanese Fallout, yeah!

Great graphics, also I was wondering if you needed help with Latin American countries because I might be of some assitance there.

I don't know how you'd do this, but it'd be interesting to see diplomatic options for the Chicago Pact, in order to balance it's weakness.

Even given the historical realist nature of dictatorial foreign policy, I cannot see even a de facto alliance between Germany and the Soviets lasting for any longer period of time, so America (and possibly the other Chicago Pact nations) should have the option of supporting one side or another in given conflicts (perhaps just Canada and America) for personal advantage.

Like, say for instance that there was a communist coup in the Middle East (or I dunno some unaligned area). The Axis forces and Communist forces both move in to support their sides, and the Pact is the tie breaker.

We do have plans for diplomatic events, though none have been made yet. We have several concepts for all the major nations. They will range from supporting coups to declaring all out war, depending on how the event tree goes. Its alot of work to do, so don't expect any solid news on them yet :)
