no diplomatics in mp

hey there,

i encountered a very strange mp problem tonight.

connecting always worked, looked like a good game but then i found no diplomatics whatsoever worked for me. no trades, no war, no nothing :/
first thought its a router issue, but i think then i shouldnt be able to connect.
tweaked with my router-settings anyway but still no go. im sure i made no mistake as i work as network-specialist in real-life so i know what i do in this topic.

anyone have an idea?

also want to apologize to the people i tried to play with in valkyrenet, sorry to spoil your fun, hope we can play when my problem is solved.

That does not sound like a firewall/router-problem. Was the diplomacy section unusable (as in messed up graphics)? If so, there may be something wrong with your installation. If all options were greyed out; did you have any money? Were your country another country's puppet (if so, you can't do any diplomacy, at least that's how it was in HoI1)? Did you play Co-op? If so, I think only the first player for each country can do production/diplomatics, although this I haven't tried.

Give more information in your post. What country did you play, what scenario, did you do co-op etc. etc.

ok, country was russia, no co-op, scenario gc 1936 - nothing was greyed out and graphic was also ok.

and i was able to click on the diplomatic things but nothing happened. even canceling trade agreements nothing happened.
