hi, i have bought and played the Victoria Revolutions and the ...i finished the game and i export to HOI2 DD as scenario and runs ok but there is no events of doomsday!
Please help a lot of people same me! i have the Crusader Kings, Europa Universalis 2, Vick (VR) and DD and i love to play a thousand of years!!
Well, a scenario also includes a list of appropriate events for the scenario to use. If that's not there, you should take it up in the Victoria forum.
However, it kinda makes sence when you think about it. All hoi2/doomsday events are created and written with the world from 1936 in mind. When you play Victoria, you most likely produce an entirely different world setup, with different alliance blocks than that were in existence in 1936. So, activation of the standard doomsday events will lead to all sorts of strange effects. Trigger conditions that are no longer valid. Province lists and checks that are no longer valid. Division lists that are no longer valid. That sort of thing.
It doesn't surprise me one bit that the standard doomsday events are not activated for a Victoria exported scenario.
If you want info about modifying a scenario yourself, you're better off asking around on the scenarios and modifications forum. But the short answer is yes: you can edit, add or remove events to both a save game file and a scenario. Check out existing save game files or scenario's on how to do it.
As for the other remarks:
Well, you may notice it in doomsday, but since the scenario was created by victoria, there is where the trouble lies, if there are indeed troubles
Regarding what is or is not exported by Victoria, or what could be done differently: That too is a Victoria question, and should be asked there.
