No Gold Mine in Niani

Description

I wanted to verify one can build a grand temple in Niani now. It's now possible but the gold mine has been removed. Is this intentional?

Steps to reproduce

Start the game in 867 and check the economy map or go directly to the county.

update: as suggested by another player I used console to get to feudal and the mine is there, but in a city.

Ideally I would prefer the city being moved to another holding but if not move the mine to another holding.

This was the first thing I spotted when I looked at the new mines in Africa. This presumably means you have to build a castle to to benefit from it directly - yet it doesn't show as a possible mine location. Maybe that is the actual bug: 'Special buildings do not show up in economic map mode when no holding present'?

So I looked through the script and it looks like for some reason someone was going to put the mine in
# 6730 - WASULU but commented that out and put it in 6728 - FIGUIRA

Hello there! The mine was moved to Figuria, but Figuria starts the game without a holding so the mine does not appear on economical map at the start of the game but should appear once the holding is constructed.

Right I've pretty much moved on from "no mine in Niani" to "the mine is in a holding the player can't own".

Should the mine not appear in the economy map mode as a potential site, despite there being no holding?

Edit: I'll go one step further. If the patch notes state that 4 mines have been added in Africa, but 1 has effectively been removed, should this not be considered an issue? I bring this up because casually (re)moving one of the Mali gold mines, a concept so very iconic to Crusader Kings, seems like it should have a footnote at least in the patch notes if it was in fact, working as designed?

That in itself may be "as designed" but is the fact that it doesn't show up on the economical map also "as designed?"

How many more invisible, unknown, ghostly special buildings might be hiding out there in the corners of the map, only to be discovered should one build a holding in the exact correct place? This should probably be addressed by adding it to the economical map, regardless of whether a holding is built there or not.

It should go back to Niani and the two actual bugs should be fixed: 1) Economic map should be able to show multiple special buildings. 2) It should be possible to construct two (or more) special buildings in the same holding. Else it's just a hack. You're not hackers, are you? :p

I'm pretty sure it's hard coded such that a holding can only have one special building.

Yes, and for those holdings that 'needed' to have more, such as Rome and Byzantion, they placed the extra special building in the duchy slot. This expansion really would have been the time to fix this, if you were going to pepper the map with more special buildings and have a grand spectacle about visiting all those places.
