Hi,
I have 3 computers one which is connected via cable modem to internet - no router and the other two via internet connection sharing. These are all connected to eachother via standard linksys hub.
I cannot connect my other 2 computers to eachother to play a LAN game(not computer connected to cable modem). I can play every other game over the LAN but when I start one computer cannot find the others hosted game so can't join and when I reverse it so the other hosts the other computer does find the game but when I press join it just hangs and nothing happens.
Any ideas ? I am using windows ME on both computers (XP on computer that connects to internet via cable modem) One of the 2 machines is a P3 500 512mb ram, 10gb HD, Geforce 2 graphics.
The other is a 1.9AMD 256 RAM, 40gb HD, Geforce 2. I have tried uninstalling both lan cards and associated protocols but still no luck.
