No Manual - basic question - help request

I bought a copy of EU used and of course it didn't come with a manual. So I'm trying to figure out how to exit the game! Right now the best I can figure is to save the game, surrender, and then I get to an exit screen. I know there must be a right way of exiting. I've tried most key combos I can think of. So - how do you exit the game?? Other than this I'm enjoying the game and getting the hang of it via the tutorial.

it's the only way to exit you have to surrender.

that or CTRL-ALT-DEL, but the surrender part is the real way.

Starbright - this is the Support forum not a chatline. Comments such as yours have no place here.
There is no evidence that the poster *is* a "bad people". As EU has been out for more than a year it is quite possible that it was a used copy.
In future kindly confine such unwanted comments to yourself or to PM.

Really, I'm aware that this is a strange request. I bought the copy from a Half-Price bookstore which legally sells used games and I don't have a manual. Isn't there a way to exit the game properly?

I told you, "Surrender" is the only option. There is no "quit" button.
