No Music Checked everything

Hello, this is my first post, so dont throw me to the lions just yet...

I have a problem:

The music does not play. SFX do. And the into videos all have music. Now the game and the first menu don't eventhough music settings are all on and at 99.

I have done everything suggested in similar threads: config, setting, settings.cfg etc, to no avail....

I installed the 1.07 patch last week, and the music played. I played it again yesternight after a week, and voila... no music, eventhough the message at the beginning actually displays the message "loading sound".

Help?!?!

Oh yes, and running the ubisoft spanish version of the game

Found my own solution

Yes, I found what the "problem" was.

My assigned D-drive is not my CD-ROM (which is drive E), but by DVD-ROM, so when I inserted the EU2 disc in that drive (E) the music did not play, but the game worked; and when I inserted the disc is the DVD drive the music played.

Anyway, perhaps a similar thing happens to those of you who have posted with this problem. However, if someone may point out how to "fix" this; it'll help.
