No music even with corect EXE selected

I am running version 1.9 with no problems, with the exception that I have no Music even with the Music version executed, and music turned on within the game. I have followed the running the game thread, but still no music. I do have regular sounds though.

Any Ideas?

Don't worry, it really, really, really, really, doesn't matter, you really, really, really, aren't missing a thing.

This is a glitch that affects a small minority.
As Martinov has said it doesnt really matter. The music isnt that memorable and people often ask how to turn it off!
Incidently once the game is running then you may take the CD out and put in an Audio CD.....

This glitch effects me also and though the music is annoying, its better than nothing.

still, as long as the rest of the game is working.

The music in EU2 is handled differently and you will be able to hear it!

In the meantime - being able to play the game is more important.

Sometimes the music is to low and you have to raise volume real much to hear it which makes the combat noise quite annoying.
