The same here/No music

A query regarding this problem shows up to 20 different threads with "No music". I don´t think we are all to stupid to have our computer well installed. Everybody claims (Myself included) not have encountered this problem before. I really would like to see a step by step instructions to see what to do if it is "only" a user fault. Or perhaps little patch witch adjust the software settings if it is there the problem.

concerning the no sound issue... the following are steps that should help you trouble shoot sound issues

1) make sure all music and sound options are turned on...in the option menu
2) there is a "no sound version" of EU out there make sure you not running it
3) update your sound drivers
4) adjust the sound hardware acceleration lvl , on some sound cards it works
5) make sure you have the latest patch installed..
6) kill any programs running in the background

Download the correct 1.09 patch for your version.
Now go to Start/Programs/Paradox Entertainment
You will find an icon that reads "Europa Universalis(No Music".
Run the game from there :)

It will also run a little faster as no music files are loaded.
