When ever I log onto V-net no-one seems to be using 1.05b. Why is this. Am I missing something?Is it buggy in multi? Thanks. Davo.

I'd play! hey lets start a 1.05b game thread and get together a good sized group ( i say 6, usually gets way to problematic above that) I get pretty good Europe connection and America connection... maybe it's cause i live next to sprint

Personally I'm still using plain 1.05, and I've noticed many other players are as well.
This is no comment on 1.05b, it just so happens that I've got 1.05 saved games I'm playing on with other people that I want to finish first.

Yeah i can't beleive this either. The people on V-net said they are not going to use 1.05b and are going to wait for 1.06!! They claim they "heard' Its bad. I have no idea were they got this idea. 1.05 does nothing but good. in 1.05 the spanish civil war doesn't even always trigger! Some people...
I'm just using 1.05a because everyone else is. If there was a good 1.05b host things would start changing.
No one in the US is using 1.05a or b because neither of them are sanctioned by strategy first. Both are fairly glitchy. I DLed 1.05 from Roadtowar.com and was messing around with a SP game and my game would not go past Dec. 13 1941. I talked to tech support at Strategy first and they said within a week or two that a new patch would be posted at their web site. That was about 2-3 days ago. Not sure if any of you heard the same but that is what I got directly from them.
Many people are unaware of it and the benefits.

I too have been having trouble finding a good game of 1.05b, we should start up a game with everyone from here. The only games I can play with the people on V-net is about 2 or 3 players games and well I prefer a hefty 6 to 8 game
I would be happy to join in a game of 1.05b.
Do you also use the CORE mods? I find the armor and naval revisions, and the new doctrines, to be especially good and produce a more realistic WWII feel.
