No pop growth using necromages

So, after todays update, I used my klenn necromage build. Necrophage origin. Having used em day before I know how they work etc, but today discovered I literally have zero pop growth. I tried selecting the species specifically and it would just revert back to any a few moments later. Even my pre-patent species was not growing. Which I found utterly weird. I saved, reloaded etc, still same issues. Built city districts and cleared blockers, and nothing. All images taken today after the update had released. I made sure to edit my empire first before even using it, switching out a civic etc. So I don't understand why I have no pop growth at all, even from the less species. As I need the lesser species to grow in order to turn them into my dominant klenn necromages.

I have the same issue with my Necro empire. The secondary species is not even selectable to manuel growth. Not playable as a Necro at this time.

yes unfortunately it has been confirmed that any secondary species [excluding specific circumstances that use your primary species] will not grow

avoid empires that make use of pops in this manner [exclusions include clone vats and lithoids]

Yep same here no pops grow on any of my planets be at my slaves or my main necrophage pops

Same for assimilator machines. No cyborgs are built just machines in pop assembly and growth.

Yes, they are working on a hotfix which should be available by the end of this week or early next week.

It's been fixed now! Go play
