Hello all,

I'm currently having some issues on my Linux laptop, trying to run this game. I posted about it here, In short, I have no sound when I first startup the game. I have to go into Settings>Sound> and hit apply. The game freezes for 2 minutes (roughly) and then has sound.

Next: when I try to load a campaign save I created yesterday, it crashes. If you check the link, I posted the output from the command line right after the crash.

I have tried running the GOG and the Steam version of this game, and get the same issues. I am very unsure where to go from here. The link has a suggestion to try updating from Mint 19.1 to 19.2. I don't think that will solve this issue, but I'm willing to give it a go.

Does anyone have any other ideas, outside that?

Hokay, so I did a completely fresh install of mint today. 100% fresh. I restored my files, updated my drivers (it went for the open source one by default, but I'm running the latest and greatest nvidia drivers atm), install the game from scratch, and fired up the campaign again. I just finished mission 1, when the game unexpectedly closed. No error message, no sound, nothing. It just up and died.

When I re-opened the game, the error returned. So...that wasn't it. Whatever this is, its unique to Prison Architect.
