I think Hoi3 should certainly have a "no time limit" mode. Either have it in the options menu at the start of a game or have it as one of two campaigns

: WWII Campaign
: WWII Capaign [No Time Limit]

This should be easy to implement and would only add additional fun and longetivity to the game.

Do you agree?

It would be hard to not make it dorky because you'd have to add tech things and maybe events and everything.

Well, playing up to the 1960s is definately enough for me - I never even fully ended WW II. Also, you're mostly run out of things to research or do by that time, unless you're doing a world conquest as Bhutan or so - although that has been done in less time. Maybe it should just be another end date option or so, I don't think that's too hard to do.

I agree there should be a "no time limit" option. They could design the game to end at a certain year and perhaps have a pop up stating that no events will fire after XXXX year but you are free to keep playing if you wish.

So I agree with the OP:
: WWII Campaign (1936,1939,etc)
: WWII Capaign [No Time Limit] (1936,1939,etc)

Thats part of my point though, playing as tiny nations can become pointless [i can only guess how dull it is for inexperienced players] simply because there is insufficient time to really do much.

Im glad you agree. I think it would add more life and replayability to the game.

I totally agree. With no time limit mode there is no need to mod our game at all.

How are the two connected? Unless you meant the no time limit patch. (And thats also my reply to the OP: there's a no time limit patch (not an official one))
