I'm playing the updated/patched version and control pretty much all provinces in Britannia. Then I realized that I haven't had a single trade mission since the game started. No grain, artifacts or ladies to be found in the whole country. Is this deliberate (i.e. am I doing something wrong?) or is it something with the update?

I'm playing the original campaign but with the DLC and the latest update installed. When I played this game two months ago (without the latest update) I remember having lots of trading quests popping up all over the place.

I don't remember. I think I only did it after I was already allowed to recruit from towns.

New problem: The Lancelot vs. Mordred quest never started and thus I'm stuck with one empty chair at the round table. :(

Do you mean the objective looks like it's active in the Objectives window, but the quest didn't appear on the map?

Also, what quests do you have active at present?

It hasn't appeared in the Objectives Window (there's a question mark in the box). The tool tip says it will start in the future. The open quests were grail related (I completed the game).

About the trade quests:
It didn’t come up in my game ever. Did anybody else encounter the same problem?

About the Lancelot vs. Mordred quest:
There are two conditions: The quest will appear only if you have 15 Morality points (either Rightful or Tyrant) and since the last patch you have to achieve the 150th turn.

Before the patch I didn't have the problem either. That's how I noticed their absence.

I had the morality points but the game was over between the 115th-120th turn.

Yes, I also am having problems getting trade quests to appear. Basically, I've given up even trying to put my heroes on the +50% to Trade Centered Adventure locations as they seem to do nothing. Incidentally, I am having the same issue with Battle Centered Locations. I kept three heroes on three separate locations simultaneously for a solid five years without a single Battlle Quest appearing...

I emphasize here, that at that time I had no other active quests, with the exception of Envoy of the Sidhe (and its equivalent, Christianity-favoring quest).

Yep. I tried the same thing and also built the Inns for the merchant quarters in Camelot. I guess something is wrong with the base appearance rate for missions (150% of 0 is still 0).

Yeah, I have also noticed getting a lot fewer random quests since the last patch. The trade and battle locations also seem to be doing little to nothing. The only random battle centered adventure I encountered were the forest giants and they were towards the end of the game.

Most times to make them appear, I had to keep reloading the most recent winter turn and mess with the RNG by doing something different like change the items I had equipped.

Also in regards to the Lancelot/Mordred quest. 150 turns is way too long of a wait, most of the act 3 quests can become available before turn 100 and some people are done with the game before 150.

Thanks for taking care of this.

Maybe if it isn't too much trouble you could take a look at the personality traits of Sir Ywain. The poor fellow seems to suffer from scyzophrenia or a serious case of compartmentalized thinking. :D Er, he is an Old Faith adherent but also a Christian zealot.

Great. I'll wait until the patch is done before starting a new campaign. :)
