Nomad Religious Conversions

In my humble opinion, the Man of God event which is part of the new DLC is resulting in the steppe region converting to other religions quickly and is not historically accurate.

I created a mod stops the event from triggering at all.

It just does not seem realistic to me, however I am certainly no expert on the matter.

Did nomads convert to organized religions as often and as early as they do in the game?

How often did these conversions occur without the use of force?

My son brought the issue to my attention, he did not like the design decision that led to the nomads in much of the Great Steppe abandoning paganism before the ~1300s

How early do they convert in your games? After 50 years? After 100? Nomads were rarely forcibly converted given how hard it is to project power into the steppe, but many did convert, it wasnt just tengri throat singing until the golden horde became muslim

Eh, it’s just a simple mod by a dude playing a game as another dude who’s raising another dude that this dude will eventually play as.
