Waking up this morning and seeing the rejection in the subject line of the parardox e-mail wasn't exactly the best way to start my day, but certainly not the worst! At least the waiting was over. I was more disappointed than I thought I would be, especially since I had been telling myself for two weeks that I wouldn't be getting in (I love pessimism). Oh well, it's nothing that bourbon can't solve! Wassail! Here's to those who made it in and here's to us, we who were left outside the castle walls, until another day! Wassail!

Hey guys, Don't you know it? It was very strict process. Age, declared internet access, number of emails and level of maturity showed in posts were all examined. They also very strictly checked all info they could get from internet. However....
In weekend some moron attacked paradox server and destroyed all data. So jOhan had the problem: start whole process anew or just fire webbrowser and pick few guys at random? "Lucky ones.." hmmm what a nice topic...

Even if I did not got any rejection emails, I still think that I am rather rejected. But I cannot say that I am unhappy, I had to admit that in the upcoming months I will be quite busy with my work (even no time for friends and family), so my support to CK would have been miserable. But the busy season ends somewhere mid-q2 2004, when actually CK will probably be ready.
One more thing!
Without any intention to ofend somebody, but look at HoI, when I purchased it ver.1.01, it was unplayable and after a day of play I throwed it away with frustration, not believing that it was a game from Paradox. So I returned back to playing exclusively EU2 and did not even visited HoI forum up until already 1.05c patch was available. So I decided to give HoI a second chance. Surprised I was is to say the least, when I saw the improvements over 1.01 and all thanks to the players (not-betas) that improved the playability of HoI.
Therefore in conclusion, we will give our support to CK after it will be released and prove (at least to ourselves) that we are also good!!!

Oh that is absolutely nonesense, as even mom and pop shops with a database use 2nd site backups, and everyone backs up atleast once a day ussually twice in my experience.
I wouldn't believe Paradox would not also backup their database information. They would be the only place I know of that doesn't.
