Basically what the title said, any idea what ruler trait that make vassal and courtier loyal? In some game i have the luck, all my vassal and courtier loyal, in other game they loyalty keep falling down. I know that diplomacy point and reputation affect, but what trait that have negative effect?

Beside occupying all enemy demenes or giving money/anything or accepting proposal from enemy, is there any way to white peace enemy? I found the enemy very stubborn, they even refuse white peace if i don't offer them any money, even if i already occupying half of their demenes.

I'm using DVIP and DVIP addon

The big things that'd lower your vassals' loyalty are "realm duress" trait (you won't miss it, trust me) and "royal prerogative" law. There's lot of other things that may lower loyalty, but those two are major.

As for peace with AI, well AI is often suicidal in this game, and not really reasonable. So you should just squeeze as much out of them as you can.

You can't really say, because it all depends on what traits your ruler has, and what his vassals have. If they match, everything is roses and fluffy ducks .. but if all their traits conflict, then it'll be thorns and duck-poo instead ;)

You can check the traits thread in the FAQ forum to see which traits match and which don't.

As Kalontas said, Realm Duress is bad .. always bad. Kinslayer is bad too ... especially with family members. Heretic is bad ... unless your vassal is heretic too. Excommunicated is bad .. unless the other char is excommed also.

Another question how to find where is particular country or title is? Any search feature to show location? Also how important building that not generate income or anything like school?

You mean like, finding where is German king's capital or where is duchy of Dorostotum? If you get interested with those, it's usually through a message to you, and there you have the country's shield which you can click, so it moves you there. There are some lists in the ledger as well, I think.

The search function is usually located on your '?' key. It might differ depending on your keyboard.

To search for a province, you just enter the province name. You can also use it to find a title, as long as it is the chracter's primary title. So if the character is the King of Germany and Duke of Swabia, you can't search for his Swaba title. You will have to find him by 'King of Germany'. You have to be exact about the title. So you need to know if he is a king, duke, count, prince, emir, sheik etc.

Most buildings are important :) ... But Glassworks and Mine are the big moneymakers. They produce one gold per month, not year, like the tool-tip says. Court of Justice is also very important as it helps keep Thieves' Guilds away, and is needed if you already have these buildings in your province. Otherwise they never go away. Normally you can see the effects of each building in the tool-tip. Some do have effects beoynd that. Like Schools helping research in the province, and churches helping with conversions.

ow so much thing that i don't know, thanks everyone :p
I see in some player posted picture that they can be emperor, what is the prerequisite? Also how strong the mongol is? How big i need to be to stop them? When they will come? Also how to stop my vassal declaring war? My 1 tiny little province vassal like to to suicide by declaring war to another kingdom....

This game very good, compare to EU3, it's like building a house of card, anytime something can happen and destroy your kingdom. Too bad the Ai can't handle realm duress at all. The game become very easy when player have small/mid size kingdom, wait for your neighbour got realm duress then start to vassalize anyone you have claim in those kingdom, later on grab their kingship and vassalize entire kingdom in one go.
Starting from Hasting as Denmark, I have 5 kingship in 1134 (Denmark, Finland, Bohemia, Norway, Lithuania) with 2 more half done (Swedish and Poland) and 2 more as target (Scotland and Ireland)

1. Emperor trait. See this thread

2. Mongols. Sometimes they conquer most of the map, other times they just sit in their one starting province, and do nothing. Their main strenght are of course their numbers, but the fact that they do not suffer from attrition makes them hard to deal with. They can walk around with 40k armies with no problems. Also they conquer territory immediately. They don't have to settle peace for it. And ofcourse their leader has no demesne limit. So the Khan kan do without vassals and have 100 personal provinces.

I can't remember the dates. But they are one of the only deterministic events in the game, and they appear sometime in the 1200s. Later on the Il-Khanate will appear in similar style.

3. A good idea is to set the AI aggressiveness to 'Weakling' in the game options before you start the game. That should keep them from being too suicidal. It won't eliminate the problem, but will make it less annoying.

The game is not hard, if you are intend on World conquest. And if you get bored, you are free to set other goals. I like to try and expand my culture before expanding my borders too much. Or I could do the reconqiesta in Spain, and then afterwards split up all the kingdoms amongst my sons to see what will happen :)

Or you can become a huge powerhouse, and then switch to some poor count in a remote province, and try to destroy your old empire ... or maybe play as a relative inside the kingdom, trying to claw your way to the top.

The only way to beat a khan without vassal with 100 demesne is by occupying all of it then before he want to accept peace ?

How to expand culture? The only way i ever do it is only with even at my capital. Anything i can do to help?

Btw is girl child useless? Just starting new game, playing as byzantine vassal, my ruler only produce 3 girl child, too save my dinasty i change my law to allow my girl inherit. Now my old ruler died, and his under age female child inherit, what happen if my female ruler married? or i'm already doom?

Girls are not useless, you marry them off to a prestigious noble or a son of a king to make your grandchildren inherit a throne. In case a female ruler marrying, the children will have father's dynasty (and most likely, religion and culture, so avoid marrying off-realm), meaning game over even if you do produce a male heir. There are a few ways out of it.
1. Edit the savegame to make all your heirs your dynasty; or make your queen the same dynasty as her husband - because it's frankly ridiculous that your own children inheriting will mean game over.
2. Marry an otherwise unrelated (or very distantly related) nobleman of the same last name as you. Needs to be distantly related to avoid the inbred trait, but have the same last name to make your children inherit properly.

No, same rules apply to your conquest of mongol provinces. Basically you need to conquer his provinces faster than he takes yours. Also when the khan dies, they inherit due to gravelkind, splitting the empire amongst the sons.

Don't worry as long as there are nobody from a different dynasty in line to take over, you will get a "country cousin "... a randomly generated dynasty male with bad stats, who will take over. If you switch to salic inheritance, then you will never be game over because of a lack of male heirs.
