@ Mexbuild - You have saved the the colorscale as png-file, yes? And with the indexed colours used by the game?
Yes, as png. But how can I set the indexed colors?

HannibalBarca2 said:3. Do you have the newest version of the Map Utility?
HannibalBarca2 said:4. It is often smart to delete old radish, temp and map files before running through MapMaker.. F.ex I got a strange Alaska once because one of the pictures wasnt rewroten
You should go through it with the newest version, as newer versions is often cleaning away bugs. Some of the older versions is impossible to use.Kretoxian said:version 1.2.3 beta. I had 1.2.1 (stable) just yesterday when this error appeared.
I personally just delete impassable connections defined adj-mod, as this will have no effect in game.Corvuz_Crovax said:I got it to work finally by keeping a close eye in the #connections vs #required connection, thanks for the tip. But the adjacencies are totally screwed in the game now it seems it saves the adjacency manipulations from earlier runs, however am I correct in that I can just fix this by deleting connections as needed and just recreate them in the /map/adj-defs.csv file? Or can you only create river and sea type land to land connections and channel sea to sea connections in there and not regular land-land and sea-sea connections?
123;321;Land;0;Example

But you can only add land-land in map/adj-defs.csv, and not sea-land
Code:123;321;Land;0;Example
Look at YOUR province id map. If there are now connections, then there will be connections.Klaipedietis said:I don't understand...I add 20 new connections between new provinces and delete 20 old ones,
but the MapMaker shows me that I need to add 16 connections more (I have:14844, need:14860).
How can this be? Where do I need to take those extra connections from?
Also if I change nothing except the shapes of borders, MapMaker still shows that I need to add 18 connections...
EDIT: The MapMaker also tells something like "there is already a connection between x and y", but it is clear by looking at the map that there was NO connection between those provinces. What is that all about?
You have added all possible extra connections for every single unused offmapKlaipedietis said:Ok, I have another question. Somehow my new island province (and almost every other province)
has a lot connections with the craziest places in the world (and I don't remember adding them). How do I get rid of these unwanted connections? Edit the "adj-mod" file and delete them? But then I will need to add even more connections to keep the balance and I already used all the available off-map provinces for that :/

Alltogether 38*38 = 1444 possible adds (Seing everyone can connect to one another)
(Not including 2607, as it have a bug)
yesKlaipedietis said:Oh, I used only 2600+ provinces, thought they were the only off-map provinces available ^^ So that means I do have to edit the adj-mod file and take away those Estonian-USA connections, adding the off-map ones?
