Powerslave: RISK? Gee, I haven't played that for some 20 years. Thanks for the vote of confidence. :) You'll like CK, trust me.

I'd better, I paid for it almost a month ago on preorder. ;) But I have no doubt, I have all of the Paradox Grand Strategy games and they are all a pleasure to play.

So are you going to continue this AAR? Sorry for being restless but all I can think about now is CK, so please use your talent writing skills and serve us something.

Just so you know, I have asked the Powers That Be if I can continue this AAR, based on some of the game notes I capsulised in the final post. Keep your fingers crossed. :)

Craig A: This game would suit your style, too. Just think of all the unsavory characters your twisted mind could create... mwa-ha-ha... ;)

Damocles: Thank You!!

CrazyBugger: Hmmm. I think I'll be purposely vague unless someone else wants to step in (IE: I'm not 100% sure if it's NDA). It wasn't a siege. They were passing through on their way to Venice. It just so happened it coincided with my plan to invade Sicily, so I wrote it up to add a bit of suspense.

I thought it may have been something like that, but I had to ask anyway :D

I thought of two other questions:

a) How long do the sieges take usually & can you assault?
b) Do you actually build the siege equipment or is it just implied that you have some?

Thank you for the response & I hope you can continue you AAR.

Guiscard only has a "5" for martial!?!?!?!?! I call shenanigans on that one!

Good to see that the real Bohemond is alive for this scenario, and the Antiocene follies that must follow.

I've finally managed to find my way over to the CK forum and find an Lord Durham AAR. Well done Bruce! I'm becoming interested in the game because of your story. I haven't purchased a paradox game since EU II but I'm thinking seriously of buying Crusader Knights. It was fun trying to dig out the game mechanics hidden in your story. ;)

CrazyBugger: My sieges usually lasted anywhere from 4 months to a year, depending on the size of my army. There is currently no option to assault, though siege tech skill can increase, as well as fortification strength. No, you don't build siege equipment.

Mariani: 5 IS rather mediocre, isn't it. :)

Storey: Joe, glad you found your way over and thanks for reading. I say buy it, I'm sure you'll enjoy CK. :)

My ISP has informed me that I've doubled my allotment of allowable bandwidth for the month, thanks to the response to this AAR. So don't be surprised if the graphics disappear sometime in April... ;)

Additionally, I've been given the go ahead to post some more, based on my original notes. So, the question is, any one interested?

Guess once!:D

I say, go ahead!:)

 You really have to asl if these people want more??? Start writing!!
Well, it's just that I don't know how much new stuff I can add, so people might be turned off by the novelistic style.

Good catch! I was hoping no one would notice. Historically the Normans eschewed beards. Try telling that to the computer, though. ;) :)

I'd vote for either a continuation or a new AAR with 1.01 and whatever country you think would be interesting.

My next choice was going to be Bretagne, mainly because of the Conan linkage, but I've been scooped. Oh wait, Conan is Irish, too... Hmmm....

An Irish AAR would be wicked cool.
