US dissent unstoppable rise

1.06, US campaign consumer goods is 792 and I've put in 800 and yet dissent continues to rise at .47 per day!. It doesnt matter how much you put into consumer goods the .47 figure does not change. I've just reinstalled the game and patched back up to 1.06.

Did you click on something else after you bumped up your CG?

The new settings don't set in until you click away from the slider screen.

remember that if you're not supplying your troops, with any supplies, dissent also goes up. So make sure your supply slider is not in the red. Hope it all works out.

Just to be sure I started a new campaign and the only thing I moved was my CG slider, I moved it to just above the required number and checked and my dissent was still at +.47 per day. I was producing enough supplies for my troops also.

Did you click somewhere else afterwards? If you leave it on the slider screen, the new settings won't take effect.

Correct, you need to exit the screen for the sliders to have effect.

Ok, this worked, though I was sure I had clicked on something else.
