V. 1.08 event given factories

Hi

During a GC game as Austria I had the pleasure of receiving 3 events which gave me factories.

The first was in the mountains of original northern Hungary - the event gave me a grain factory.
I would have prefered one that could benifit from the metal ressources in the province, but ok...

The second and third factories were both given by events that mentioned grain factories - in grain provinces - but both factories were in fact weapons factories!
Is that a bug?

BTW: At the time of fact. 2 and 3 my Land level was 17, so I could not build any Weapons factories (besides those from events) yet.

Option B of #The Edict of Restitution# (1629) gives two Luxury (grain) manufacturies, one in Bohemia and one in a random province.

#The Oostende Company# (1716-26) gives a Refinery manufactury in a random province.

So the timing doesn't work out as you say you got the one before the two; was that a random (Unexpected Invention) one perhaps?

In any case if the two were definitely weapons, yes there's a problem. Do you have a save game tyat shows this? Preferably one from just before and one just after the Edict event. Thx.

You are right all three (seperate) events were Unexpected Invention.

Nope, sorry no saves available - but thank you for your interest. I will rember to "save the saves" if this happens again.

The Unexpected Invention event text does not say what type of manufactury you are receiving. I guess this was a case of "wishful reading"

There exists no such thing as a grain manufactory.

The "luxury" manu is the Fine Arts Academy (adds to stab investment etc).
