Hello,

I am using the german version of EU2. Before I installed patch 1.08, inflation could be reduced by promoting a mayor to governor. Afterwards this does not work any more. How can this be fixed?

This is Working As Designed. In version 1.08, governors reduce inflation by a percentage per year, depending upon how many of your provinces with cities have governors. The maximum reduction in a year is .25%, which requires that you have promoted governors in all your provinces with population of 1000 or more. Note that the reduction happens all the time, but that if you are "minting" money (sending monthly income to the treasury), you will still have increasing inflation, just not as fast as without the governors.

The rate of deflation varies proportionally to the percentage of provinces with governors.
