Aah. A non-European, non-Asian, non-American nation AAR! Don't get enough of those in these here parts.

Chapter 1 : New Government..Old Army

Reza Pahlavi stared unblinkingly into the hot sun over Tehran. He seemed to be deep in thought and most of the servents didnt really bug him noticing this in him. Then one of his more talkative servents walked in.

Servent Yasef : Sir the mail arrived from the British Prime Minister...
Reza : *Turns around slowly*
Reza : Yasef...im assuming you have read the history books right..?
Servent Yasef : Yes Sir...when i attended school. But that was years ago.
Reza : Well did you read back to the part where Persia was once a great empire.
Servent Yasef : Yes but that was Centuries ago.
Reza : Well ok then...Yasef you can leave now..
Servent Yasef : Ok thank you Sir
Reza : Yasef wait...I want you to inform the National Guard to start recruting Militia divisions and start researching better weapons.
Servent Yasef : But why Sir..?
Reza : Yasef ..remeber ...curiosity killled the Cat
Servent Yasef...Right sir I will inform the military.
A couple of days later Persian Generals started recruiting Militia and General Servace divisions and started to gather around the Iraqi and Afgan borders. Reza informs the people that they will be border guards...but some of the people are uneasy about this...

Oh i forgot to post to post the pictures..so here they are

Persian Government

Su to the north, bad.

Uk to the southeast, bad.

iraQ to the west, bad.

afgHanistan to the east, easy pickings.

turkEy to the northwest, easy pickings.

not enough IC, not enough manpower....bad beginnings. you have your work cut out for you. i do not have the patience to play a nation like persia. i am glad someone out there does!

lol ya

Chapter 2 : Annexation of Afganistan

More troops were gathering around the Afganistan, Persian border. More then half of the divisions were Militia groups set up by the government because they cost a lot less then accual divisions. The night sky was full of stars and a full moon rose over the desert as the first militia divisions crossed into Afganistan and started attacking Afgan military targets. Minutes later the Persian Government declared war on Afganistan. The date was February 16th, 1940.

There was medium resistance in Kandahar, and Heret but they were easly taken care of. Much of the Afgan equipment was outdated and weak. Of course the Persian equipment wasnt the newest ethier but it was better then the Afgans. The allies werent concerned at the invasion because they were busy in Europe with the Axis. But Iraq grew concerned

On March 24th, 1940 The Persian militia groups and royal army defeated the last resistance in Kabul and were on the march towards Kabul. The March would take 2 months because of all the Highlands and Moutains in the area. But after 2 months the Persian army finally made it to Kabul and Annxed Afganistan making them part of Persia.

Reza was extremely happy with the reasults of low causuallties on the Persian side and thanked all the troops that fought in Afganistan at a parade in Tehran. Of course later that night military plans were comensing and more divisions were being build and being set around the Iraqi border. Something is up but most of the people of Perisa havent got a clue.....

SU is busy with Germany right now they dont pose much of a threat

If you can manage it, my long-term goals when I play a Central Asian country is to attack the Central Asian Soviet provinces, some of which have surprisingly high ICs! Of course, the Soviet Army has to be kinda completely obliterated by that point because diverting a mere dozen divisions against you might be enough to push you back. Not even that, really.

How's Sinkiang, by the way?

Well, you could always smooze up to the allies or Germany to get blueprints, but at a cost of lack of freedom in Foreign policy.
