I have a save from right before this happens. In this situation, I am sieging Antioch, which is the target of a crusade. Within 1-3 months, I am suddenly at peace with everyone I was at war with. My liege is still at war with the same people. The crusade is still on. This happened 3 out of 4 times I loaded the save.
I have observed a similar incident. As Duke of Saxony I was at war with the Tribe of Mecklenburg. Suddenly, I was at peace while the King of Germany continued sieging Rostock.
Can the "the heathens are splintered" event fire for non-christian AI rulers, and can they force peace?
I am very confident I have uncovered the problem. This happened to me again. Luckily I have an autosave just days before it happens.
I tested this 4 times to make sure. When I first load the save, I am at war with 3 people, as is my liege. Within a few days, one or several of my co-vassals (has the same liege) makes peace, and immedeately I am at peace with everyone. My liege is still at war with them.
Moderators: This is the same problem described in the thread "Hey, he doesn't outrank me."
