When I hit this date in my current game, the screen goes black for a little bit then crashes. What's goin on? I remember this problem with the previous game as well :( . If I download the patch will it be fixed, and, will it affect my current save game or will I have to start over?
 
First thing to always do if you have a problem is get the latest patch.
 
Patch is useable with previous save games if I remember correctly. As Castellion said, ALWAYS patch, and ALWAYS read the readme, it answers your questions.

If its still a problem, could be a problem with the Winter War? I think thats on November 30th, '39, or maybe I'm just making it up.
 
Well we always suggest starting a new game fore a new patch.
But it can be possible to continue and exist one in some cases.
 
The reason I asked about the patch was because I normally do not like a lot of the patch "fixes", like the last game, and after reading the read me i think it's ok, but i'd still prefer the game without it. I was wanting to know if you had heard of any thing specific being put into the patch, that way if there wasn't I woulnd't have to download it :) . But oh well, the patch worked, so I guess I'd rather have a patched working HOI 2 then a broekn one. :rolleyes: thanks.
