I was tweaking the game files of Roguetech and noticed that, even in vanilla, if I reduce the number of mech parts required for salvage (say from 3 to 2) and I manage to destroy a mech by only a ST explosion and thus destroying the XL engine, the parts available for salvage later will be proportional to what the main setting is.
For e.g., the number of mech parts required for construction = 2
Number of mech parts available after ST only destruction = 1
Number of mech parts required for construction = 4
Number of mech parts available after ST only destruction = 3
Is there a setting that I can change somewhere to delink this? I've checked a lot of .JSON files in RT and the vanilla game but I can't seem to find a line that specifies this particular property.
