I don't remember, is there some way in CK to give a province to someone else? If it is possible, the loyal Duke of Francia could give a far away province to his liege instead of burdening himself with a troublesome vassal.
Would editing the saved file to strip yourself from a privince be considered cheating? I think not. And that way you could mend some of you liege's blunders.
