Have to say I was hoping for an EU:Rome expansion rather than CK2.
I can't say I was wishing for an EU:R more than CK II, but I am still refreshing pages all over the forums/internet in hopes that a EU: R Expansion announcement will come out sometime today...
Does anyone know what the expansion team is working on right now?
I think they're working on an EU3 expansion that will focus on (and named as well) the Rest of the World.
I think there was a vote for which expansion they should do next a while back, and EU3 won.

Yup, that's all right and good. But as far as I know, there has been no official announcements as to what project that team is on.
I'd love to find that out. Personally I voted for a EU:R expansion. While EUIII is an amazing game, and one of my favourites, I think 3 expansions is already pretty heavy.
Either way though, I'd just like to know what Paradox is working on in the short term as 2012 is rather far away.

my god man. paradox may soon be unstoppable. playing from the dark ages and exporting games all the way to ww2...... maybe even into more modern times.... you have got to be kidding me. imagine if they went back even further to rome. holy bejeezus.
now i kinda wish i could travel a few years into the future and see the NEXT generation of all these games. you've made my wishes come true PI......

I would say its time to start planing my CK-EU3-V2-HOI3-Galactic Civilisation 2 campaign but it's already been planned out and the basic outline was used as a story for an English assignment.

What do you expect when our favourite game is one where you build an empire spanning the entire known world, only to have your prodigious, generous quasi-Jesus of an heir die and be replaced with his schizophrenic; murderous; incestuous; and cruel cousin from Wales?
CK was my first Paradox game, bought for £3. It is my favourite Pdox game... scrap that Its my fav game, full stop.
