Okay, some new sprites for the Game

I was wondering about how it would be nice to have some specific sprites for our games, especially in regards to the Muslims and other nations.I know this may seem forward or perhaps even unnessicary, but it might actually give the game a feel of Abberation.Muslims with lances in the gunpowder age just drives me crazy :p

Its merely a matter of overwriting everything since there is a Mus 2 and Mus 3 levels, its just that paradox was so lazy by not doing them :D

Check out the site http://medlem.spray.se/kaigon/ its for kaigon, guess we should ask permission first :eek:o on the left menu you see the EU sprites, the Caliphate ones look nice for our Abbasid Caliphate and the Russia ones are good for the Ukraine.

What do you guys think?
 
I'm kind of believing some of them are originally made for Abe. ;)

But asking Kaigon first is always nice.
 
Cool I'll ask him, the new sprites would surly add some feel to the game :D

Great stuff, I'll add them in for the next build.
 
Except that I have no idea where they go. I can't locate the Sprites section.
 
Hehe, okay, let me explain.If you download them, you have files, bmp pics, and palete.
Simply put the files in the GFX/Map/Unit section whilst putting the bmp pics into the GFX/Map/Unit/bmp section.

The Palette is put into the Palete section in the GFX :D

Try it for the Muslims first.
 
Yes, well, none of those sections exist yet and I couldn't work it out from the vanilla files. I do some more looking around and create the folders needed. Thanks!
 
btw there is also a swedish and a prussian lvl 1 sprites made by kaigon that looks great.

The only problem with this is I have no idea what it's for or where it would go or how to make certain it doesn't mess everything up.

Apart from that, looks interesting.
