End Country Report: Not actually ranked in any order
Spain: Poor Lyko, the country had excellant prospects at the beginning of the 16th century, they had profited slightly but not obscenely from Frances destruction and were well on their way. But Fraese being the player killing maniac he is decided to annex him. Combined with Venice's greed and Portuguese inability to help Spain fought valiantly but the outcome was not really in doubt. Still survived longer as an AI than I'd assume it would.
Burgundy/Flanders/Holland: Had a surprisingly successful start and the spree continued with the destruction of Spain, however this seemed to mark a period of stagnation for the continent spanning empire. Minor border wars with Austria were the only remarkable event in the 1500's, made a brave stab at starting up a trading position with Portuguese money and purchase of the Indochinese CoT but dissapearance by Fraese seemed to doom this. At least until the last few sessions where Ironfist did a very nice job, beating back Austria to the other side of the Rhine and also got substantially richer. May well have been the power it should have been with a few more sessions under his able leadership.
England: More of a non-entity that is to be expected of an England, lost the 100 years war with barely a murmur and then colonised North America exclusively for the next 200 years, meeting extortionate Portugese demands to unite the entire continent. Showed a glimmer of life late on with Elizabeths reign and ridiculous trade agreements (Venice, Sweden, Holland and the Mughals at the same time being a nice example

) giving its trade a kick up the rear end, doubtless it would have been a force of some sort in the end game.
Sweden: An bit of a catastrophy of the first century was nonetheless recovered by Daniel, taking Norway and the Baltic through diplomacy and ships full of gold. The strange situation in eastern europe left me a bit confused how much power his Sweden could wield, but I'd estimate it around the level of Venice, so not too bad, but taking the country halfway in meant it would never be as powerful as it could have been.
Venice: A solid performance for Absolut, he befriended (Burgundy+Austria) or neutralised (OE+Spain) all his neighbours and was left in total possession of Italy and damn near all of the Med (excepting Alexandria

). Never chose land over sea and in my opinion suffered slightly from it, boasting a good if not stellar economy and a good if not superb army that I am unsure could stand up to its neigbours in an offensive war. Did a good job of improving Italy itself, with a lot of strong forts and manus and a good colonial presence.
Austria: Brandenburg died early, leaving Austria in the strange position of having all of Germany but Poland in control of Hungary. Set about rectifying this and did well, taking back Hungary and a fair portion of the Balkans, dooming the OE to mediocrity. Fought Holland several times, and in the end came off the loser, perhaps due to Maurice however, Venice also got the better of him, taking advantage of Cicero's often constant war.
Did a good job of the economy was able to fight for years without spanish funds and that says something, the number of manu's is also praise for the Archduke.
Ottoman Empire: Did not ever get off the ground, losing first Alexandria to the Portuguese, the majority of the middle east to the Mughals and Hungary to first the Poles then the Austrians. In the end was little more than a puppet of the Mughal Empire. The economy was a bit of a disaster here, nearly half the wealth of the Austrians is not a good situation for the Sultan and it showed in foreign policy.
Russia: Russia did not really stand a great chance of success, WATK3.1 has weakened it substantially and the decision to have a Mughals pretty much nailed the coffin shut. Lost early on, but was never likely to take and hold Siberia or even retain independence past Akbar. Was shut off in the corner of Europe and there it stayed until the great war of Gustav.
Timiruids/Mughals: Expanded greatly into Europe and India, but had reached the pinnacle of its power, its leaders dead and its inferior tech speed were beginning to catch up, as Austria, then Sweden and Russia successfully took the fight to them. Not much else to say, they had the Ottoman in their pocket and China was unlikely to attack them, which would probably allow them to grow unmolested into the remaining AI's for the remainder of the game.
China: Not much to say, payed far too much for Hong Kong and its infrequent attempts to influence foreign affairs ended 1) Due to GM action and 2) Hamachi. May have done something in the end game, but they may have simply whiled away time in glorious isolation.
