old variants GET DELETED?????

ok so i did it again. i chose mutation, after having ALL THREE orbital speed demon traits. i figured, hey, i can go back and roll back to before i added fertile, once i get cloning, and keep the orbital speed demon traits. NOPE. THAT VARIANT IS GONE!

why paradox, why? if i'm not going to be allowed to remove positive traits, we REALLY need to be able to roll back to previous variants that aren't what we started the game with!

nevermind, found a solution. the old template is still in my colony ship list for some reason, so i should be able to revert to it and add the clone vat trait without fertile, by colonizing a world with this template.

Probably via a migration pact -- original flavor left, now you can re-import that template just like you can import any species in migration pact empires with a colony ship.

lucky me, cause this was going to require console commanding away the traits otherwise, and i don't really like cheating anymore it cheapens the experience. even if it feels like i'm just fixing a bug.
