Event only? Or the scenario inc. itself maybe right where the troop is listed in the OOB?
And what about units under contruction? Can they be positioned and locked and then unlocked in the inc. do you think?
Sorry, I was using the wrong word it is actually the dormant function I was think about. We put all the units dormant in the scenario file, and through events we can "undormant" them. The dormant units are not on the map until an event reveals them. The only differences between this way and the way you have it is, with dormant function you can add experience to the troops, decrease strength, possibly change starting org or max org and the main benefit is the brigade option. The problem with using events only to put units on the map is lets say in 1943 we want to put an infantry unit in the game with artillery, the infantry unit will only be able to get great war artillery (1918 tech). with the dormant function we can have the infantry recieve modern artillery.MaximusII said:Nah, I like the event thing better beacuse it's cool, plus where would we put all these locked divisons?
Well, I believe we do the same thing, have them appear in the deployment area.MaximusII said:Ok, guess we can try it then
I was just thinking that we could use my system so you can place your units where you need them![]()
Ok, I guess we go with your Idea thenusnorwaystudent said:Well, I believe we do the same thing, have them appear in the deployment area.
