The last few updates have been every Wednesday. It's now Sunday.

I really hope this is because they're adding a TON of new stuff with the new open beta patch.
They haven't so far, and since they want to leave the Beta this month I don't see that happening. Adding a ton of content to a Beta and then leaving Beta the next day defeats the purpose. I fear that this meager band-aid is all we will get and then PDX will move on. There is no money in fixing sold content. To push this DLC out this quickly already was a stupid decision, that can only be explained by management wanting to get rid of it since the season pass was already sold. Putting much effort into this DLC would not see any ROI. Now PDX puts out a few meager patches and then says its fixed and will never speak of this DLC again.

I am happy AoE2 gets a new DLC and then Broken Arrow releases, there is other stuff to play than HoI4...

Has anyone been able to play through the azad hind path? I am finding it almost impossible to flip states at the start of the civil war and during it the allied just pour in bodies like anything....
With lots of PP it should be doable. Incite violence in the princely states and remove british Raj cores in all but east Punjab. If necessary incite violence on former british Raj core states too. I've done the following strat several times:

Make sure before triggering the civil war all the states have more than 65% (or whatever the first threshold is) resistance. Note that sometimes a state with slightly less than 65% resistance (like 64.7%) will show up on the map as 65% but the state will not join, so it's better to have more than 65%. Also the decision lasts 90 days so keep that in mind. It's better to first remove british Raj's cores and let resistance increase naturally and later all at once incite violence on all states but east Punjab.

After the revolt fires, sent like 2 divisions to the closest ports and several divisions to the burma border. Surround french India and kill the lone division there. British Raj will only have the east Punjab state. surround that with your remaining troops (strategic redeployment) and attack to get the only VP. Use the planes from Japan from the airbase in Delhi, they have CAS capability.

You might want to take the infiltrate aden focus and the seek Japanese support focus that grant permanent army and air XP gain buff (it can't be gained after independence). Some british territory like ceylon will stay with you after the war if you occupy those. Conversely doing the enemy of my enemy and later focuses, I found useless. Japan didn't send a single division or help in any other way.

One more thing, could we have the option to turn our factions members into puppets? Basically make it like the Nordic Defense Council or Austria/Hungary shared focus tree. We have a choice to decentralize or centralize, each side giving its own set of bonuses and paths. This could lead to some sort of integration (Maybe?) or development of each country. They could be unions or Integrated puppets, or a new special puppet like the Nordic Defense Council one.

Only if this shared tree was integrated with ideologies and had some integration in the existing focus trees. Otherwise it just gets random.
