Regarding heavy tanks, Germany hasn’t made Tigers in a long time which means that the achievement that needs Sweden to get a Tiger tank license from Germany is blocked as of the dlc that introduced the tank equipment designer.

Thank you for your great speed of action! These seem like lovely batches and hope we have more to come. Some things I noticed is that Iran still does not have anything signifying their historical presence on Central Asia, Turkmenistan etc. No ability to core any of these provinces either, or any special effects for them. These were historical parts of Iranian empires! We can still only core North Baluchistan so there is really no point in taking those provinces other than some building slots.
(Forgot that we still cannot core Tajikistan being one of the most Persian non Persian states)

Good step on the right direction, especially on the shareable templates which is not GoE-related.

Hope i can do the beta-testing too when the gaming laptop isn't occupied.

I hope @pdx_lily and @Chakerathe are still there as all hands are needed on deck for this time.

One question. What happens when you inport/load design that you have not done in the tech research/tech three?

That is situation that will happen often. You have design, but not all the techs for it.

Been playing around with the beta and I noticed some issues:
- Iraq can't form Mesopotamia even tho by the patch notes they should, it only unlocks once you become Kurdistan
- If you do the Saadabad pact focus as Iraq for some reason you don't invite Afghanistan, the same applies if you complete it as Afghanistan in that you don't invite Iraq
- Kurdistan can once again form Arabia, which I'm pretty sure is a bug since that option was removed for them in a previous patch

Some suggestions as well
- A formable for Communist Iran
- More generals for Afghanistan
- As democratic Iraq you should have decisions to annex the various puppets you can get in the path
- Kurdistan should be able to ask/demand Deir-Az-Zur from France

By the way, are this the full extent of the changes you intent to apply to GoE and the beta is to iron out possible bugs/issues or can we expect further content additions/changes to the DLC in a following patch to this one?

This was a good step in the right direction but i feel like Iran could use some more work (I am copying my main points from another comment i did last month)

Uninspired Army and Navy focuses. The imperial guard and immortal focuses just give some uninteresting divisions, some national spirits would have given more flavour in this regard. The past few dlcs have had army navy and Air Force spirits for countries that can be upgraded with more focuses. That was sorely missing from Iran imo. The Iranian navy had two Sloops (Babr and Palang) but they are now nowhere to be found. I do like the airforce focused with the unique spirit and the different choices. Since Iran is a mountainous country, a mountaineer bonus other than a research would be nice. Airborne special forces (NOHED) participated in the Dhofar rebellion so maybe some bonus for paratroopers.

The fascist path would make more sense to be the Azure Party with their leader Ḥabib-Allāh Nowbaḵt or the more famous Fazlollah Zahedi. Maybe Sumka could be another path alongside the Azure Party.

The communist path seems better with the additions, I like the inclusion of releasing Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and Kurdistan but they should be called Azerbaijan People's Government and Republic of Mahabad respectively. The bonuses you get from the communist navy and airforce trees are very boring. Some army bonuses could be cool to reference that Iranian marines were somewhat trained by Soviet Spetsnaz. And i really do not like the debuffing your generals with the politically connected trait.

I like the additions to the Democratic path, wish a bit more could be added to the Islamic Republic, maybe references to the IRGC with army bonuses.

Problem with Iran is that the surrounding nations it can invade are protected by the British. There needs to be minor war systems like the winter war so Iran doesn’t need to do a world conquest for trying to take over Kuwait or something.

There needs to be more to the Azari and Kurdish resistance than clicking one focus and deleting it. Maybe cooperation in some of the paths with the prize of unlocking new advisors, or gaining extra manpower.

I like the addition of more resources.

When I saw the Fund university focuses i thought they would be more interesting than just research bonuses. I do like how they are 35 days now tho.

The Iranian advisors are so bland and boring, same with the industrial concerns and MIOs, like even Afghanistan got some unique traits for the MIOs. And why does the motorized MIO (Iranian National Corp) not have a unique art?

Personally im not a fan of National Spirits that expire and it seems like Iran has a lot of these

Minor things to add more flavor would have been names for Tanks, Aircrafts and Special Projects. As well as having names for the Divisions you start the game off with

No art for Field Officers besides the one??

These are just some things I’d like fixed at the top of my head. As a Persian I’ve been waiting for Iran to be represented well in this game since the release of HOI and I’m disappointed at what we got for Iran. And I really wished Turkey could have been touched up on since they are an important player in the region (I do like the inclusion of the Sadabad pact very much).

So what's the point in the saadabad pact?
It's cool, I like it in theory, but when am I ever going to use it?
You only keep the benefits if you play 'tall' and decide you don't want to conquer the other nations but I bet most players, such as myself, don't want to play tall.
The A-H branch worked better as you could diplo-vassalise each other but that's not a system in place in GoE.
It's the same issue as with the nordic council tree. I'm sorry but I have never and probably will never go it.

Added formable "Mesopotamia" for Kurdistan, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, and Egypt, to allow for the restoration of the Cradle of Civilization
Just asking, is this formable a new one or just a modified Neo-Assyrian Empire formable like i have suggested?

In my latest update for my mod, i did exactly like that since i also dabbled on the formable nations file. So Assyria can still form Mesopotamia too, but their name would become "Neo-Assyrian Empire" instead of "Mesopotamia" formed by Iraq, Kurdistan, etc.
