I love the new historical missions, but Operation Atlantic must be broken (or I'm a worse player than I thought). Everything goes ok until phase C, but then the germans spam something like 7-8 tigers and 5-6 king tigers - in addition to dozens of flak-vehicles. I've played the mission like 9-10 times together with my (skilled) friend, but with three hard objectives, the 6000 casualties cap, and the (king)tiger-spam, the mission seems broken atm.

We have tried naval/off-map/arial bombing the hell out of the german armoured columns, different flanking attempts, setting up dozens of piat ambushes, ambushes with 17 pounders from all directions, but to no avail.

Have any of you won it as the allies? What's your strategy?

I agree it's badly designed. The Germans could have way less income, and would still win because it's enough to create a critical mass of units and field some King Tigers to deal with any threats on the ground. Operation Bluecoat is also problematic for the Allies, but at least they have air superiority and can kill the Jagdpanthers with sideshots by using AT planes on it.

There's a straightforward process to it. Concentrate all armor player and half inf player resources on left objective. Infantry player also contests mill and mid.

In A, capture town objective on left after bombing out 88, then rushing up with armor. Fortify with infantry player. Armor player continues on to next objective and must capture by end of B. Infantry player must capture steel mill in B while continuing to contest town on left and holding open road for armor player.

I haven't figured out how to do it solo, but I beat it in one go well before the end of B with a pug after telling him what he needed to do.

I agree with this strategy.

You need to win before phase C starts.
So with a 11th Armored massive tank force, leaded with a couple of recon armored cars, and with the help of your air bombers, you should be able to storm Escoville easily.
The bombers should focuse on AT and AA.
Then head to Giberville without stopping and prepare to defend against the phase B German reinforcements which will arrive from the south roads.

On phase B, buy another tank force and go help the Canadians who must be strugling in the steel works. With the help of bombers, the 3 objectives must have fallen before the end of phase B.

Yup, Atlantic is very winnable for a good allied team due to the powerful phase B. Usually I try to take Escoville in A with all of the armoured resources+some canadian infantry whilst the Canadians set up on the outside of the Steelworks. In B the armoured player buys all the fireflies, Achilles and some Sherman and pushes to within rush distance of Giberville killing off as much of the 21st panzer's assets as possible. Canadians focus entirely on the steelworks (and should be able to take them) apart from bringing some off map artillery to range of Giberville.

As soon as phase C hits, Giberville gets hit by 3-4 off map artillery+bombers and both players rush any unit they have nearby in to capture it before the KT's get rolling.

It can be a tight schedule but it's perfectly possible with good firefly and artillery micro to clear the way to Giberville in B.
